I think JustShari is in. Anyone else?
Bill, my daughter Amanda & two friends will be joining y'all. She went to Hoot Island & have seen FFF1-3 pics so she knows how Parrotheads party. 8)

Ringling Ringling is following suit with a similar challenge for next year;
If we hit $20k for charities, he'll shave off his beard. He says he's had it for at least 15 years. :o
If we hit $30k, he'll go completely bald. :o :o

Enjoy them both while you can, Todd! :pirate:

I just have to come to Frisco next year!!!! :D :D :D

Cool - I'll be in line with the Leaky Tiki when the lots open at 9. Debbie is training in the morning, so she's coming later with some friends of hers.

I'm going to try to get the blue circle right by the east gate. If that doesn't work I'll probably go for the big island in the black circle since that's a really good spot. Both of these are in the blue east lot where the yellow circle is on the parking map. You can give them my cell phone # in case they have trouble finding me.

I'm listening to the FFFIII show ... I'm just loving "Surfing in a Hurricane."

It's so 1967 ... Pipeline and Secret Agent Man and all that ... Utley has some great licks on the keyboard and Peter just tears it up ...
Gentilly ... 42 years is a long time to wait .... a Northeast Texas woman can hope.

There's a line in there "my cojones were in my throat". The Frisco show is the only time he sang it as "my balls were in my throat".

Yesterday was fun! We pulled right in at 9:00 and we were the first ones in the lot. We had the perfect spot within 100 feet of the main gate to the stadium. PHP canceled their porta-potties because they didn't think anyone would show up, so we had the only one in the whole lot. I had a line so I called and got 2 more, then the storms came. I sold about 100 wristbands but most people were just using them for the porta potties. I haven't seen it rain that hard since Hoot Island, but we partied right through it all. I braved the worst part of it in the warmth of the hot tub.

Thanks to Justshari and her husband for all of the work they put in yesterday. I tried to help cook a couple of times, and Terry told me to just go have fun.

Hawkeye from 96.3 KSCS did a live broadcast from the Leaky Tiki and talked about the charity work we're doing. Together we raised another $500 for charity, which is going to the Leukemia / Lymphoma Society in support of Mrs. Play's marathon.

George Strait on June 6 anyone?

Great job Bill!

My daughter came home Friday sick and has bronchitis. She hated missing the concert since it's a tradition with two of her friends (would have been their 4th time). So she's at home doing antibiotics, fluids, etc and hopes she doesn't miss much school this week (since she's a teacher).

Did all the acts get to perform?
Hank Hill : Just in case I'm incapacitated for some reason, do you know how to start a man's heart with a downed power line?

Bobby: No.

Hank : Well, there's really no wrong way to do it.

Sugarland canceled because one of the singers was sick. Lady Antebellum and Miranda Lambert played their whole sets in the downpour. Kenny Chesney played probably half of his set, until the lightning got close. When they shut it down they said he'd be back in a month or so at an indoor venue.

Phin power for your keet, Frognot.

For those of you who helped me try to find my lanyard (ABQKeet, Mr. Mojito) and for those who had to listen to me p!ss and moan about not having my mulit-colored one at FFFIII, I FOUND IT. It was in my glove compartment ... my guess is that it's been there since last year on the way home.

Found it just now while looking for a CD for a friend.

I volunteered to help burn CDs this year. I never send a CD out without listening to it first to make sure it came out OK. I listened to 12 copies of this concert in the last 6 days.
