They announced that Chesney is coming back to PHP on Sun 5/17. Anyone that had a ticket fle the first show gets in free. We're planning to be there early and do it all over again.
Who else is in?

For those of us with 'keets, maybe this idea will help include them with the fundraising.
Maybe they could have Birthday Parties That Matter!
Both of our keets have reached that point where they have more toys than they need and at birthday parties
they tend to end up with lots of gift cards. Lately, a few friends have had parties where instead of gifts,
the host requests items for the local homeless shelter or domestic abuse shelter. Our keets could
request that gifts be made to PartiesThatMatter.org in lieu of gifts. It would be easy for parents because
they could go online (at the last minute

) and make the donation.
Just a thought. I know our keets want to be involved and want to give back as much as they receive.
btw, Larry - I would offer to "go
Yellow stars" but I'm hoping that isn't what you wanted.

Would that be a good fit, or is there already an organized party for that? If that would create conflict or whatever, are there any suggestions for other venues over the summer that might work?
I'm way behind in reading the thread, but Cincinnati would be great! There's a bunch of us from FFF going to be there this year, so the more the merrier!

Gingerbreadman should have all of the master CD's in the mail by Thursday (LIPH was at the Raleigh show and got his copy from him then). The distributors should start receiving them early next week, and they will get their copies out to everyone from there.
I'm waiting for one more picture disc that should be here today, and I'll mail what I have to Dirtracer49. I asked him to just make one master and mail it to me, and I'll send it out to the distributors for the DVD.
Thank you Dave and Rick!

Rudy's is awesome! The GM even hooked me up with free ice when I told him about what we were doing for charity. Fox Sports is great, but I've thought about moving the pre-party to Rudy's since it's so close to our spot. The club inside the stadium is also on my radar, but I don't know how feasible that would be. I do have a call in to see about that for next year.

I sent mine out in groups of 3/day starting last Thursday so some people may have gotten them already. I like to listen to CDs I burn before I mail them to make sure they came out OK so I don't have to re-burn and re-mail. I
think I listened to all 12 copies before I sent them,

but if anything's screwed up let me know.
