What time does the lot open up for tailgating for cars? We are driving up from Michigan and are trying to decide on what time to leave. We got hotel rooms but the person who set that up accidentally book room at the Holiday Inn in Stuevant (not sure how to spell it) an hour away.

typically they don't open the lot until 3pm, but because so many cars are backed up at noon, they will open the lot at that time. Sturtevant isn't that far away... no more than an hour. The easiest way to get to Alpine from there is to take Hwy 11West... this will take you right to I43 just south of Alpine Valley... Hwy 11 will take you thru Burlington and follow to I43 and then North on I43.

Is there gonna be a "Hang Out" for BN'ers at the tailgate, would like to stop in and say hello when we do our rounds.

Is there going to be a BN hangout at Alpine? I will not be able to make Hemminway's friday night but would like to meet up with people before the show. Is Capt Flock going to have his margarita ball flowing?

Hey all you crazy Alpinians, I'm alive and doing well. just spending lots of time with Jolena (we're still on our honeymoon, so to speak) and the kids. We're leaving Thursday morning and will be in Janesville that night. If anyone is around send me a PM and we'll see about going out for drinks and such. Although it is against everything I believe in, I'll make an exception for my BN friends .

Can't wait to see everyone at Hemingways, and at the lot on Saturday!!!!

We called Alpine Valley Today and they said they will open at 1 pm

This year, it does not appear that there is one big BN hangout at Alpine. The past few years, I have hosted one, but I'm determined to keep it small this year...not that I don't want to see y'all, I just needed a break this year, I need one show to be about enjoying the music. So my tailgate is small. I know Jolena's bus group is always fun, Jim's party should be a good time, and there's always plenty to do.

I admit, I'm missing the big party prep a bit...and there is a good chance that I'll bring it back next year!!!!

Everyone is welcome to come and hang out with our bus group if they would like. Our bus will say Monticello on the side of it.

If anyone needs 2 or 3 pavillion seats, PM me. Had a few people drop out this year and would prefer to not roam the lots getting rid of em. Less than Ticket Master \ Live Nation cost...not bad seats. Section 201 row X. I will be in Janesville at the Best Western on Friday night....or am willing to meet up at the tailgate.4 days away! Phins up all!

I know who's supposed to be playing at Hemingway's, but does anybody have any idea of the scheduling?
Two Seasons Bowl in Elkhorn has a Buffett Bash on Saturday night also, featuring the Boat Drunks with special guests from the Coral Reefers (Nadirah, Doyle, and Mr. Utley) scheduled from 8 to midnite. I'd like to see/hear the Drunks, but I really don't want to miss the Beach Bum Band either.
