geez...time goes by really fast. I hope the weather for the show was like this fest weekend. Blue skies, fluffy clouds, and a light breeze.

As it turns out this does conflict with the start of school for Mrs. Play, so we have to sit this one out. One of these years I want to try to make a Jones Beach show.

I do have a room at the Best Western Bar Harbour Inn. Check-in is Tue 8/25 and Check-out is Sat 8/29. The rate I got was $134.10. The total with taxes and everything is $599.43 for 4 nights. That's for a king bed and continental breakfast.

If anyone wants to pick up the room for any of these nights, please send me a PM. I will cancel it on 7/1 if it is still unclaimed.

I enjoyed a lovely run on the Jones Beach boardwalk yesterday and observed the following creatures: 2 dead horseshoe crabs, an angry seagull attempting to crack a large clam while others tried to swipe it, a protective mockingbird pecking at the buttocks of a big black crow, and an elderly gentleman who placed his beach chair directly in the vestibule of the men's room--what a delectable sea-side odor, I'm sure. I gazed upon the amphitheater and said "woo hoo!" in my head! 84 days to go!

That sounds like some interesting sea side entertainment that you got to witness there lilsalty. It is especially amusing that a mockingbird was pecking at the buttocks of a large,big, black crow. And, why would one drive to Jones Beach to set up their beach chair in the vestibule of the Mens Comfort Station? It's like "I enjoy to be at the beach, but I still want the smell of a public restroom while I gaze upon the Atlantic and watch the seagulls fight for clams"

Are you able to get into the Jones Beach parking lot without tickets?? I wont know until almost the day of the show if I will be able to attend, therefore I might just drive out there the day of the show and hope I can get some tickets in the parking lot.

I have been there many times before, but cant remember if I had to show my tickets when pulling into the lot.

Wow! That is quite a workout! I have neverseen those sites in my gym. Those are the benefits of exercise outdoors I guess! HAHA! Well before you know it that old gentleman will have his ass placed at the tiki bar for a BLUE CUP tailgate party! 80 more days

because we have tickets for Atlantic City and Jones Beach, our daughter who will be in 7th grade will be absent the first 3 days of the school year. Any suggestions on how we should phrase the excuse we have to submit?
