Thats weird that the parking field for Zachs would be closed. I know once the summer is over they usually will keep that lot closed. Did you happen to notice if there were cones up in the parking lot as the MTA uses that lot on occasion for driving tests for the buses. I'm hoping it was a one day thing.lilsalty wrote:FYI:

I am wondering if the state will open that lot then, if they have it open then they have to have life guards on duty and so on unless they just put up signs saying beach closed, no lifeguards on duty. Due to budget cuts, Zachs Bay itself is closed--it closed last week! There were big white sawhorses blocking the entrance with a big sign saying CLOSED.

Al -read what I wrote -I called the person in charge of the lot at Zach's Bay -normally they only open 2 hrs before the concert but for Jimmy they will open around 10-11am -And yes I have my Blue Cups!!!!
