alright....time to share my story!

i got to the concert just in time to park, then walk through the tailgaters, and get to the line to go in.

i actually forgot the picture of where the BN crew would be and the phone list, so i just walked around and went in.

met some great people on the lawn (a few pics to come).

went to buy a beer, and this 65 year old lady gave me her money to get her one since she had no ID on her, and their policy is to ID everybody.

ended up giving my grass skirt away to a lady who kept commenting on it and had her husband pour about half his beer into my cup. good trade? ($7 grass skirt for 1/2 a $12 beer? i think so)

got back to my car and was halfway to the hotel when i realized i lost my cell phone on the lawn. deactivated the service on it, and actually went back up to the ford theater about 2 hours before we flew back to houston monday and someone had turned it in. speaks volumes for the parrottheads in tampa. thank you so much!

what a great trip. the wife and i saw the florida aquarium, took a tour of tropicana field, went to clearwater for 7 hours one day (ate at frenchys on the beach and watched the sunset), and made our way to turtle beach/siesta. it was great. they actually held the siesta fiesta last weekend, so that was an added shopping bonus for the wife.

thanks for showing us texans a great time in tampa. we'll return the favor next year if he comes back through houston!
