At this point we're not sure.... We are going to go to the Seattle show (well Duh!...We live here!!!!) and we have reservations for the 2nd Vegas show...I just don't know that we can afford to fly to the 1st show, fly home the next day, go to the seattle show and turn around the next day and fly back to Vegas..... Especially after having been to the Maui show already this year......that and Wife-poo really, really, really likes Paris (as do I).....So we are in a wait/holding pattern for the moment........

Oh definitely call the Flamingo and make your reservation. The person that helped me with my reservation was very nice to deal with, and when I told her that I was staying at the Flamingo in May as well she was really happy. Then I told her about Sammie dog, and she loved golden retrievers, so we had a brief conversation about Sammie. If you are nice to them odds are good that they will be nice to you.

People DO NOT DELAY....IF YOU KNOW OF SOMEONE THAT IS ON THE FENCE ABOUT GOING (push them off, then) - GET YOUR ACT IN GEAR AND REQUEST A ROOM!

AT THE FLAMINGO....or wherever you choose! Do it now, all it will cost you to do it over the phone is your first night stay!!!! You can cancel!

If you book online you will pay for everything up front....(but your room will be done and paid for long before the vacation)......

The tickets for the Oct shows wont be going onsale until after the May show. This is according to the folks at MGM. Karat is correct that you have to make reservations early no matter where your staying. Also if you sign up for email promotions on the hotel websites you almost always do better than just calling out of the blue.

Holy moly, thanks for the tip of signing up for emails. I just got my GO Deluxe reduced from $95 on Thurs and Sund to $80 and from $145 to $125 on Sat and Sun. Hot deal, act now!


FYI, Piratenurse has regrouped. I have this week off doing wedding stuff but already have 2 new jobs with old bosses. One is part time consulting traveling around Texas. The other is doing Quality Assurance. Guaranteed flexible hours; it's good to not burn bridges. I worked with one 7 years ago and the other 4 years ago. 2 phone calls, 2 jobs. FYI, I saw my ex-virgin's company is not only running an ad to replace me but to hire an administrator, which was supposed to be her job but which I did and is why I got burned out. Not to mention she was the world's worst matron of honor. Life is good again! See what phin power can do!!!
