Now this suprises me. Usually, we have had no problems getting in. Yes, we'd have to wait but it was more like 15 min or so; not 45. Although I'm on the lawn and we go in around 6:30/7PM so I don't know if that makes a difference. Sorry to all who had problems on Saturday.Big Green PH wrote:That said, the whole operations did seem very disorganized. I made it through the Nissan weekend without drinking a Landshark.
One thing I noticed was how much cheaper gas is in Virginia than on LI. I filled up Friday morning before I left home and paid $3.09/gallon. I filled up again Sunday morning after I checked out of the hotel and paid $2.62/gallon.

That's probably the difference right there. We headed over at about 7:20 and didn't get in until a little after 8. Disappointing because we excpected that we would have been inside in plenty of time (based primiarly on experiences at Great Woods and Pittsburgh). But, it being a Buffett show, plenty of drinking, flashing, and making out ensued in the line anyway...Hockey Mon wrote:Now this suprises me. Usually, we have had no problems getting in. "I need to start growing up," I thought to myself the other day, as I sat in my pillow fort.

Damn, all we had was some really drunk women trying to sell pav tickets; "These sseats are soo goood, you want to buy them. You will be in the 8th row". And of course, someone doing the always popular mooo sound effect.Big Green PH wrote:But, it being a Buffett show, plenty of drinking, flashing, and making out ensued in the line anyway...

I had one Landshark in our cooler that I got as part of a beer exchange (think cookie exchange with cases of beer) unfortunatley when I got home it was still in there. I can't believe no one took it.

I like LandShark! Feel free to deposit all LandShark in my cooler next year.
Now I know this Joe down in Mexico.
He went there to work on his tan.
For years he's been plugged into blenders and songs.
They call him the Twelve Volt Man

ahaha.. so the cooler that was stolen out of Randy's truck was full of Landshark (the roadies hooked us up before we left the Marriott parking lot that morning with a case... a case none of us drank even tho it was free, hmmm...).
and by the way... we found the cooler as we were driving out of the lot! No kidding.. and no Landshark, phew! But still not cool what they did to the Marine sticker.

I'd also like to take a moment of silence for my shattered scorpion bowl. It was a young bowl, barely broken in... but alas, Critterpalooza was too much for it!
... guess I need a new one! hehe
