in much the same way as the umpteen "I'm going to KW, what do I do?" threads got consolidated.. I got to thinking (dangerously). "What if we had a "Jimmy's NOT PLAYING MY BACKYARD VENUE, WHY NOT!!!!!111!1!" thread where everyone can come and vent.. easily found, and we can eliminate the dozens of new threads started on the same topic."

So, he's coming to Toronto, which is only 5 hours away from home, but it's on a Thursday, when I absolutely must be at work!

We would also need a "Jimmy is playing in my home state near the town I live in but not at the venue of my choosing because one parking lot is better than another parking lot" thread.

Or "Why Can't We Get 2 Shows" or if you get 2, "Do You Think He'll Add Anymore"

Damn, people get messy over silly stuff.

Or Bruce Springsteen, Kenny Chesney, Dave Matthews, U2, etc. are playing nearby so maybe they will "share" the stage with Jimmy thread.

I'm just going to lurk in this thread because he is coming to both venues in my neighborhood and both venues have weekend shows!

My problem is the vast, vast quantity of weekday shows. I live in Cleveland, and I can never go anywhere but Chicago for these shows. This year I'm also making the trek to Philly for the Camden, NJ Saturday show. But with Detroit, Cincinnati, and Pittsburgh tantalizingly close but impossible with the weeknight shows, it's pretty frustrating.

ya, the week day thing does s*** a little.... and what about Buffalo??? We have a pretty darned good outdoor summer venue...........

actually wait I'm wrong. Chesney ditched Hartford for the casino this year. Hartford is officially below jacksonville.
