I knew someone would have it on you tube!! Thanks!!! They were talking about it on the radio this morning,playing clips and discussing how he appeared to be so stoned.

Thanks for the clip, they talked about it on our local news this am. Wow, that's "Performance Art" at its worse. Letterman was a riot.

I thought it was funny when Dave said I'll show up at your house chewing gum and Joaquin took the gum out of his mouth and stuck it on the bottom of Daves desk..lol

He was way out of it...very entertaining. A few years ago, I remember him appearing on Leno to promote Gladiator and he was pretty much the same way. Completely out of it

that was one of the funniest things i have seen in a long time!
and yes...it was suppose to have been an elaborate act...phoenix is filming a "documentary"
reguardless...letterman was on fire with him!

Andy Kaufman was at least entertaining and he was brilliant.......Phoenix is just boring with this shtick.
