I was in high school when Andy hit it big. I was not hip and didn't totally get it. Watched "Man on the Moon" as a young adult and that explained a lot to me. I think Andy was an acquired taste. What Phoenix is doing, just puzzles me. I doubt I'll "acquire a taste for this act. Though I loved his rolls as an actor. (By the way, Jim Carrey was phenomenal as Andy Kaufman in Man on the Moon. Totally worth renting.)
