Finally!

Post by scuba_monkey »

Finally no retreads, no remakes of songs he has done 10 times before on albums, but honest to goodness new music. The snippet he is teasing us with on Google Earth sounds great, I hope he has an entire CD that will thrill us. I have been so annoyed with his live or "new" style material, that it is great that he is truly doing new stuff. I have been wondering for a while if JB had more songs in him, or if he has just been capitalizing on our love of what he has done before.

Welcome to BN.
I'm not ready to say this new song is as good as APLAF but I'm looking forward to hearing it and anything else Jimmy has when I see him this summer.

I'm looking forward to hearing new material this summer, and I like what snippet of the song I've heard.

Here we are, maybe it's because in spite of all the work we do
It's the child in us we really value
Here we are, with our fins up and our feathers flashing
Here we are, with our coconut shell brassieres chanting

im looking forward to some new original work! the tiny bit you can hear from "summerzcool" sounds similiar to getting the picture. a new album would be nice, but i like the idea of road testing the songs before they are released. that way jimmy and the band can see the reaction and play around with the song. i just hope the songs have more inspiration than "we're still here!"

Liking it at this point and hoping the rest will be really great! I to am hungry for something new that isn't a country duet or remake of a remake. That said....I take Jimmy any way he wants to give it to me! :wench:
