Glad that the Broncos beat the Giants but.....I was hoping that Jacobs would have gotten over 100 yards and at least 1 touchdown.  :P :P

I don't think he needs to sell the team. He just needs to remove himself from the equation-hire people who know what they are doing and then let them do their jobs.

On whether Ben Rothlinsberger should have played Sunday night ...

"I've been out there dinged up. The following week, got right back out there"
Hines Ward, November 29, 2009

The only thing Ward needed in the locker room was Jerome Bettis so he could have thrown Rothlinsberger under him.

VIKINGS.....

....are just hitting their stride. Gave up only 4 yards rushing to Seattle last week
and 12 total yards in the second half to Chicago and no first downs. Peterson is now
over 1000 yards rushing and Favre has only thrown 3 int. Things are looking good. :pirate:

This is only semi-sorta related to football, but it is cool nevertheless.

Anyway, Rich Karlis, former Denver Broncos kicker, and I have the same employer. My new project has landed me on the same floor as him. Do you think it would be tacky to show up to the office one day with one bare foot?

What he doesn't understand is that it's not worth "showing that you're a man" if you have a brain injury.

The NFL or the NFLPA needs to do a lot more education of these players about brain injury, judging by a lot of the comments made by Steelers players after the game.

After last night's game with the Pats.......the Saints have made a believer out of me! Their offense was good last year, this year the defense has caught up......they are fun to watch!

What's strange is the impossible is happening - the Saints are 11-0 and the Colts, who seemingly lost almost everyone that could do anything, are 11-0.

I'm still not saying it, that the Saints will go 16-0 and then 19-0. It would be a shame for the Saints to not win the Super Bowl next year after having such a great year this year. And for such a perennially bad team too. The Colts have already won a Super Bowl. The second best record ever is a tie, 18-1 between Chicago and New England. Chicago, of course, WON the Super Bowl.
