I booked my trip last week as well. I found such a good flight hotel rate for the Flamingo that I figured if I did not snatch it up right away I would lose it. I was pretty confident that I would get a ticket, and it worked out.

It looks like a week long road trip.

Raleigh (April 23rd)

Chicago (Aug. 8th & 15th)

Alpine Valley (Aug. 29th) (Still waiting for tickets to go on sale for this one)

For the Dallas concert, I tried for ONE ticket, and got FOUR.
For the second Chicago concert, I tried for ONE ticket, and got SIX.
I wasn't paying attention when I clicked the "submit order" box, and the number of tickets box was still highlighted, and my hand hit the wheel on the mouse as I submitted the order, too late for me to stop it.
I'm now $1600.00 poorer.

Crap like that can only happen to me! :x
The same thing sort of happened to me! I wanted to get 4 tickets at the cheapest price I could, but I accidentally hit "best available". I did that for BOTH chicago shows, so now I'm about $850 poorer. Boo.
I wanna be there...

I definately feel your pain. I wouldn't be AS upset if it were my actual CREDIT CARD that was billed, but in both cases (Dallas last week and Chicago today), it was my DEBIT card. Meaning that money is already gone. :x

In for Aug 15 at Toyota Park, landed cheep seats in the back 117. That is after I had landed tickets for B1 at a much higher price. From what I have seen there were quite a few people who tried to get the cheap seats early and were denied only to find plenty of those seats available later. I am sure Ticketmaster as always had nothing to do with the lack of availabitly of the cheap seats early in the sale.
