What time is everyone getting there? I'll be leaving here around 5:30 - 6am...and it's normally a 3 hour trip. But, with traffic that time of morning, it'll probably be closer to 4 hours.

the whole "what time will the gates open?" is the next hurdle. last year it was 11 even though our group assembled at 8:30.

on another note, i just saw on the tv show phatom gourmet a restaurant in mansfield called "fresh catch". if you want seafood at a good price, it seems that's the place to go.

I'm shooting for a super early start, which I tried last year, but due to extenuating circumstances from the night before (i.e., I went out drinking) I got on the road a little later than I wanted. But I'm shooting to be ready to roll into the lot by 11.

Be there around noon. Our bus leaves Orange, CT around 9ish. We have to stock up on booze and ice on the way up. Needless to say I'll be hanging in the bus/RV lot.

We should figure a way to all meet somewhere. (I offer our site since it's pretty huge and we have 3 blenders/no waiting )

I'd come crash on your couch Wed night after I get out of work, but if last year is any indication we probably wouldn't get to the parking lot before 3pm Thursday....I think I'm safer driving down Thursday morning

I'll be there as soon as the gates open. I can't make it to the Saturday show this year so I'm all-in for Thursday. We have a huge group going so we got a bunch of lawn tix. I haven't sat in the lawn for a JB show since high school. Should be fun!

I will be in Newport, RI on the tuesday before. I will be in the Great Woods area on Wednesday for pre parties. I will be at the Great Woods parking lot by 10AM whether the police want me there or not. Last year was a blast cruising up and down the road waiting for the lot to open.


True story (ask Tommy Bahama or Zuke . . .) We had all the cars parked outside Great Woods and the state trooper told us to move. There had to be 50 cars lined up by early AM . . . as the state trooper was telling us to move one of the Buffett Buses went by with a dozen or more people waving bottles of tequillia out the windows and beers and girls in bikinis showing their assets . . . the state trooper just laughed . . .
