B.B. King!

Post by bestseller92 »

There are perhaps two living artists who can legitimately claim that they're the best ever at their chosen craft -- Earl Scruggs at playing the banjo, and Riley "Blues Boy" King at playing the blues.

Any record collection without a good bit of B.B. in it is incomplete, in my opinion. At the very least, B.B.'s "Greatest Hits" is an absolute essential in the same way that "Songs You Know By Heart" is. "Don't Answer the Door", "Why I Sing the Blues", "Payin' the Cost to be the Boss", "Chains and Things" -- B.B. knows, folks. He just KNOWS.

Long live the King of the Blues!

Any other B.B. fans here?

Big BB King fan, love his music.

I picked up his new CD from the library yesterday, One Kind Favor. Has anyone heard it?

BB and Buddy Guy were fabulous. John and Keith were pretty great also.

I had forgotten how much I missed Bo Diddley

John does all right. When he is in Chicago, he's been known to have Buddy pop onstage.
