No brainer for moi. St. barth's it is.
select is in gustavia, the capital. the island really isn't any bigger than nantucket, just more hills.

The concert is free from what I understand - but I could be wrong, I believe there were no tickets required back in 1999 when they did it for the 50thstingray wrote:cool, so you really dont have to stay in gustavia. wow super expensive, I wonder if and when tix will be available

Absolutely, working on where to stay so we can book it. Once we got into it more the prices aren't as terrible as it first appeared. Thank God it's off season. Sharing is the only way it really works though. But really similar to houses on Nantucket and I do that every September (off season)stingray wrote:Gotcha, you thinkin about goin?

See you there Jon - after spending much of the day looking at villas and the cost for them I realized it was just like booking my house on Nantucket every year in off season. Once I realized that i stopped hyperventilating! I'm too old to crash on the beach anymoredrunkpirate66 wrote:Booked!

Re: St Barts 11-06-09
We are considering St. Martin for the early week then just staying on St. Barts for the weekend. Since we have never been to either it would probably make more sense to explore St. Martin and my dream has been to go to Anguilla before Jimmy ever played there. I have had to breathe in, breathe out a few times. Decisions decisions.................

It was my first look baby that's all it took

How much it would be cool to see him in that setting!!!!....i'm not obsessed enough to lay that kind of coin down. With the cost for that one event i could see him 10 times in other places.I'll do MOTM!!!!
