Found out our flight out of Miami is completely full and probably overbooked. How much you want to bet?

Banking? Yup, wrote a big check today for a small pile of euros
But it's all good! 2 more days of work - 3 if you include an appt I have tomorrow morning.

...Just remember what I said about the tequila there.........stick with Patron and you should be fine...Cuervo is not the premium like here....They have some EXCELLENT rose' wines and I am not fond of rose's....

Tuesday travel down, provision the boat, head out first thing Wed. to Norman Island for the first nights anchor.
Have fun in SB, you are gonna LOVE IT, tell Jimmy hey for me
I forgot to mention the other day, be sure to get a stamp in your passport, somtimes you have to ask, although these days not so much, they usually do with all the security and all. Its fun to collect them, nice memory years from now. I'm working on filling up my third passport, gonna do something with the old pages, scan them and make a collage or something, Saba's is cool, it has a plam tree.

Russ, we'll miss you. We haven't seen you in ages.
I don't feel bad for you since you'll be in the BVI's. When we were ton Norman in '97 we met the woman who's family owns most of the island and that little beach bar right on the edge of the water. She gave us a tour of old sugar mills and jails that are in the brush. The bar hadn't even been built yet but construction was just going to start.
Have a few painkillers for us on JVD and at the Bitter End. Oh, I'm so jealous.

Ma DouDou is a St Martin brand. The local St Barth brands are Domaine D'Albert <<La Gloriette>>, La Pinta, and M'Bolo. You can find them in any grocery, or in shops in town. Who knows where any of them are really made though.

If you're interested in rum then be sure to try a Rhum Agricole, which is made in Martinique. Rhum Agricole is made from cane syrup rather than molasses, and has a different flavor then most rum. It's best tried in a 'Ti Punch at Le Select. A 'Ti Punch is a drink made with Rhum Agricole, cane syrup, and a small squeeze of line. The saying

isn't 100% accurate, but keep in mind that you are drinking almost straight rum.

A common complaint about Rhum Vanille is that it is too sweet. It's easy enough to make your own, which allows you to adjust for sweetness.
