Last November (almost the same week) we had great weather. We had one torrential downpour which lasted about 45 minutes. We had just sat down to dinner at the Wall House when the skies opened up. Since it is open on to Gustavia harbor we had front row seats for an amazing rain event., We never saw rain again the whole week, except for maybe one or two short periods where it just sprinkled. Let's hope for a repeat performance!
We'll see everyone in St. Barths on Friday afternoon!

I FINALLY got Radio St Barth to work on my computer this morning.
Talk about getting in the mood. Although some of the music makes me feel like i"m listening to an episode of "The Hills" on MTV! (God I'm OLD)

I'm impressed Pam !!! Now I need to pack or just decide what stuff I'm bringing. .. I did transfer SPF 15 & 30 to 3oz. bottles today so far !!! 41lbs. leaves room to bring stuff back . . . .
The sun is finally shining here in PA so I wanna stay outside !!!

I know I actually have some windows open. Trying to fool myself that we're heading into spring rather than winter!
My toiletries aren't all in the bag yet but they don't weigh 9 pounds.

Well we have everything together and 95 percent packed and ready to go. Made a cheesecake for consumption while we are gone (it's their favorite). Can't wait, tomorrow night we will be lounging in the hotel anticipating the flight earrrrrrly Tues.

Flight leaves for St Martin at 9:30 in the morning. I am so looking forward to a drink on the beach. Really looking forward to meeting everyone Friday at 4pm!!!!

we arrive on SXM at 2:10 but our flight out isn't until 4:30. I'm hoping we can get on an earlier one. if anyone recongizes us in the airport while we're waiting, don't hesitate to say hi!!

You have us all beat, we land 5:15 on Friday, will head to the Match to stock up on necessities for the long wait Saturday. Personally I would like to go directly and see if we can hear Marius' speech, but I think Gustavia will be packed. We will be down at the Quay on Saturday, looking forward to seeing everyone there! I forgot to mention the other day, be sure to get a stamp in your passport, somtimes you have to ask, although these days not so much, they usually do with all the security and all. Its fun to collect them, nice memory years from now. I'm working on filling up my third passport, gonna do something with the old pages, scan them and make a collage or something, Saba's is cool, it has a plam tree.

I don't feel bad for you since you'll be in the BVI's. When we were ton Norman in '97 we met the woman who's family owns most of the island and that little beach bar right on the edge of the water. She gave us a tour of old sugar mills and jails that are in the brush. The bar hadn't even been built yet but construction was just going to start.
Have a few painkillers for us on JVD and at the Bitter End. Oh, I'm so jealous.
