I forgot to ask Jim Mayer to sign Duckett's Travel Journal. Maybe somewhere down this BuffettNews Summerzcool travel adventure we can correct that oversight. Who knows? Perhaps if Duckett makes the front row again Jimmy might sign his journal. I've asked Jimmy to sign some unique things from the front row in the past (a vinyl CILCIA LP cover, an 8-track tape, a Conch republic passport, a copy of A Pirate Looks At Fifty).

Wouldn't that be cool? And a great charity auction item in the future.

We weren't brave enough to take the Travel Journal inside the venue last night (hate to be responsibly for losing it). At one point, I thought that Karacal may get Jimmy to sign Duckett himself (a new tatoo!).

Have we addressed the possibility of holes and what is the correct way to deal with leaks? I guess duck (not duct) tape would be appropriate.

By the way, my girlfriend who'll will be attending Irvine with me, (but is not a BN'er) is claiming to be Duckett's long lost Aunt. Her last name is "Mallard".

Bummer. We're hoping to get as many BuffettNews signatures as possible as well as your occasional Coral Reefer, Trop Rockers and Radio Margaritaville personalities to sign the book.

Then since Cincinnati is the first concert after July, he can travel with me there, attend the pre-concert party at the Cheeseburger in Paradise, then go to the tailgate the next day and attend the concert.
We MIGHT wait until July to have our annual Parrothead pool party (with my Parrothead club members in attendance) so he can attend that.

C-Dawg is the official travel agent for Duckett. I'm sure he can add you both to the itinerary. After that it becomes a matter of logistics for you to contact whomever has the duck before you and make arrangements for the transfer. Duckett and his "gear" have been mailed when there is sufficient time and he has also traveled by car from one show to the next.

We also have a few "backup body doubles" for Duckett in the event of a deflating emergency (I have one and I believe C-Dawg has a couple). Of course none of those backups are on the road with "the current Duckett", so a lot of good that does us ... a bit of an oversight on my part. I think I'll check the schedule and mail a backup to whomever might next be able to get Duckett and his emergency spare together.
