Ok...so I know the opinions on Kid Rock turning "Country"...but let me tell ya somethin...I saw him at Foxwoods last Saturday and the show was INCREDIBLE!!!!! Full energy...great crowd...lots of fun!
I love the latest CD Rock And Roll Jesus...its got a good mix of mellow and rock and rap...he actually has a really good voice when he sings.
I love Kid Rock! I was just listening to his Woodstock '99 performance yesterday and thinking how I'd sure like to see him in concert. I'll have to pick up his new CD.
I like Kid Rock a lot. I saw him open for Metallica many years ago and he was great. I hope to catch another KR show eventually. A lot of his stuff is really good.
★ Maybe it's because in spite of all the work we do, it's the child in us we really value.
Kid Rock's been country for years, not just country but hip hop and rock.
He re-did "A Country Boy Can Survive" on his ep "Fire It Up" in 94.
I remember buying his first album in 1990. It was straight up hip hop but it was decent.
If you can get your hands on his album "The Polyfuze Method" from 93 it's a keeper.
A lot of people think he was an overnight success but he's been around for about 20 years now.
I wish that I could have seen him last year when he had Run (of RunDMC) on tour with him.

I like that song "Picture" that he did with Sheryl Crow but I heard a live version with Allison Moorer instead of Sheryl. So much better, Allison's voice just blows Sheryl out of the water.

On his LIVE TRUCKER cd he sings it with Gretchen Wilson....that version is incredible!
Kinda funny.....Rock has played about 100 TIMES here in the local area but I've never went to see him....except for his continuous Special Guest appearances at Pine Knob.
Corona by day, Corona by night, any old time is just alright!

I'm a fan for sure...I saw him in 2008 it was an awesome show...RunDMC was fantastic....gotta be one of the best concerts I've been to I had a blast.

Oooh...thanks. I'd love to hear that version.
He also did it with LeAnn Rimes.

Say whaaaa? I like his new stuff but thinking of him opening for Metallica....wow.

sure it does...
Flashbacks of great songs like Sweet Home Alabama and Werewolves of London.
His song is nothing but a sheer rip-off of great songs. He's like a white Kanye West.
I think he'd be nothing if he wasn't sampling great hooks of his predecessors
His show is like seeing a redneck, wife-beater wearin' poser doing a Kiss concert.

$#@&...only Vegas again?? Padres ...gotta start believin'!Bring on '14 Spring Training!
This is a great story. We went to Foxwoods on 2/14 becasue we have not been to that casino before. We visited the Indian Museum which was beautiful. We walked around the casino and ventured into the new MGM Foxwoods. My wife said we should stay & see if we can get Kid Rock tickets. We've have never see him live before. We were informed that the show is sold-out, so we thought we'd wait closer to show-time to see if there would be any scalpers there.
Well, about 1 hr. later, an elderly woman tapped my wife on the shoulder, she asked if we wanted tickets to the Kid Rock show. She said that she has comp. tickets and that the show is not really their style. We were so excited just to get free tickets!! But, that's not the best part, the tickets were Orchestra Row A!!! Dead center right in front of Kid Rock. It was an amazing show, his band is excellent! Beacuse we were in Row A we also got free drinks!! What a special Valentine's day!! By the way, it was one one of the bestlive performances I have ever seen.
