Took the jump and joined you on FB. Didn't put my screen name there becuz....I have a set of "creepers" aka stalkers. BN is one of the only places I can go and just be me with no care. I can come here and stand "naked" in front of you (figurativley of course) and you accept me as I am.....not so for every where else. Anyway...at the moment I am the one wearing my good catholic school girl clothes. Uh...yeah...that didn't stick too well..

I discovered a disturbing hiccup in this method.....

One of my myspace friends was tagged in a picture by their family member, and the tagging (with picture) dutifully showed up on my daily "Friend Updates"... I could see the picture. I could click on the picture and see it inside the folder where it was stored. There were three or four pictures of the person tagged so rather than go back to the Friend Updates I figured I'd just open the folder on the picture takers's myspace page. Well, I'm not a friend of the picture taker. I don't even know her. Although I didn't know it when I first clicked, she had her pictures set for "friends only" so I couldn't open her folder even though I could see the tagged pic. Soooo..... even if you have your pics set for friends only, if you or one of your friends tags someone in your picture folders, all of the tagged person's friends can see that picture, whether or not you know them.....

Seas, I know you're kidding, but to be serious for a minute, please be careful out there, everyone. A woman I knew online was probably killed by an online stalker. The murder has never been solved as far as I know. About 8 years ago I was part of an online yahoo fan group. We didn't know each other nearly as well as some of us do here on BN. Most of us had never met in person. People came and went, as they do, and when she stopped posting no one thought too much of it. A few months later someone decided to try to get in touch with her and googled her name. A couple of days after her last post her body had been found out on a hiking trail. After searching her computer the police said it looked like she was dealing with an online stalker but they were never able to make an arrest. Very, very scary......
