250 W. 43rd St., that's not far from the Port Authority bus terminal. You couldn't pay me to stay in a hotel anywhere near there.

What's wrong with the Days Inn in Nashville? My room had a new carpet.

Trip Advisor puzzles me though.....1 property will have 4 reviewers calling it a 5 star thumbs up hotel and 4 other reviewers will tell you about all the cockroaches.....backed up toilets....and housekeeping theives they had to deal with!

you mean, "it was cheaper than any other hotel in the area" isn't a selling point?
didn't know it was that close to Port Authority, but did figure it was close to Times Square (PABT and TS exist as separate entities in the mental landscape, where they were in proximity to each other). Guess Rudy's efforts to clean up Times Square didn't exactly extend more than a block deep either side of the main N-S arterials?

Before it was torn down... the Travel Inn in D'Iberville Mississippi should have been on that list... the place was horrendous!
Residence Inn in D'Iberville is getting better ... it was right across the parking lot from the Travel Inn..... Not to be affiliated with Marriotts!!!

Tripadvisor is such a joke. Think about it, there is no verification of what is posted or even who is posting it. The sad reality is that some posts are legit but so many are posted by hotel employees either talking up their own hotel or running down someone else's. Then you have the people who want a 5 star experience but aren't willing to pay for a 1 star hotel, so they stay in motels and then complain that they are up to the standard of a 5 star property.
