Didn't he say last year that when he made the last album he almost had enough stuff for a new album? I sure hope so. Or maybe he could release a Hawaii show CD since we aren't getting to hear live.

If the leftover songs that would be used for a new album are anything like We're Still Here, let's hope the answer is no. That song was so bad I'd almost rather hear another Trippin' Billies or The Horizon Has Been Defeated cover.

I think I would rather see him hold off and get it right then squeak one out just for the sake of releasing an album.

As Parrotheads, my wife and I are starting to get tired of his opening of Margaritaville Bars. It used to be that you would go to selective cities and enjoy the "Margaritaville" environment but now they are all over the place.
I just got back from diving in Grand Cayman and the Margaritaville bar there was a zoo. I bought one beer, drank it and left.
The honeymoon is over.......................

I don't agree. Not all of us have the luxury of traveling all over and running into Margaritaville's everywhere. We live 2 states away from the closest Margaritaville and cannot afford to hop 2 states over everytime we feel the need to "escape". I would be happy just to live in the same state as a Margaritaville.
Is this a Jimmy Buffett hate site? So many are complaining about tix prices, who they are bought thru, old songs they do not want to hear anymore, bad set lists and on, and on, and on... Why not leave BN if you are sooo tired of everything JB does or may do.

Very well said! If you don't like the Margaritaville cafes, you don't have to go to them. If you don't like JB's shows any longer, stay home, because someone else will be happy to buy that extra ticket. If JB's music is not helping you to have a good time find something else to do that will interest you for a few minutes.marksberyj wrote:I don't agree. its quality over quantity in my opinion. we're still here was a disaster but we've got a lot to drink about sounds pretty good. i just think he is taking his time and from all reports it seems like he is writing new material. it probably wont be 12-15 jimmy buffett orginials but if its good who cares. just leave out the math suks and simply complicated style tunes!!

I would like to take this opportunity to thank you ever so much for no longer being interested in laying your money down at a Margaritaville Cafe anywhere. I hope you are right. The majority of us will be thrilled to see Margaritaville in ALL those cities and more. Since you have such a low opinion of Jimmy Buffett's Margaritaville, I for one, am thrilled we should never have to cross paths.
