A true legend and American original. I haven't gotten to listen to Mr. Harvey much in the last few years due to work scheduling, but he's always been one of my all time favorite commentators. He will be missed.

His son was doing some of his shows...don't know when the last time Mr. Harvey was on the air.

Sail on PH. He was always a little too conservative for me, but did truly enjoy his "The Rest of the Story" segments. Learned quite a bit from those. I hope he had a wonderful life and a very peaceful passing. May his loved ones take comfort in his memory.

My Dad would always listen to him. I remember it being a ritual in my home growing up. My dad was quite sad at the news of his passing.

Good day Mr. Harvey.... Sail on...... :( [smilie=unhappy-angel.gif]

Sail on . . .

. . . a voice from a past time in my life, too.

I think he just went to find "the rest of the story". I hope he reports back to us. :D

I'll miss hearing his voice, and the rest of the story. Sail on, Mr. Harvey. :(

Sail on, Mr. Harvey. A real professional and the pride of the broadcasting community. He used to do radio back in the day when people would go watch radio being broadcast. He still wore a coat and tie to work long after those days were done. He was The Man for sure. He will be missed.

61 Country in KC. I can remember listening to him when I was kid. And hearing him several times on a trip to Arizona.

Sail on.

As a fatherless boy, Paul Harvey really became one of my "Three Fathers", surrogates I looked to see what kind of man I wanted to become (the other two were Louis L'amour and John Wayne). The gentleness, decency and integrity that shone through in his voice and his words helped to guide me onto a proper path. He will truly be missed, but rather than mourn this legendary American, I instead celebrate a long life well and fully lived.

Sail on Paul Harvey. I always looked forward to taking the trash to the dump with my Dad on Saturdays because we would listen to you on the way back. Thanks.

Sail on Mr. Harvey...

For many of us, your broadcasts helped make it a "Good Day."

And the world loses another man of decency, honor, and optimism...
