He likes to bait people and he's a master at it. Baiting.

Ice water thru the nose kinda hurts Larry. I think I snorted a cube sliver out.

My work here is done.

Twitter had a great week last week:
http://bhc3.wordpress.com/2009/04/23/no ... bs-change/
Last week was quite a famous one for Twitter. We had the race to 1 million followers, Oprah joined the fray, and Larry King did an hour with Ashton Kutcher, Sean Puffy Combs and other celebrities (talking about Twitter).
Twitter: The New Email
The media saturation bombing of Twitter stories is incredible. Oprah’s joining Twitter has been heralded as a milestone in Twitter’s ongoing march to the mainstream.
TMZ.com, Us Weekly and other magazines will be in full Twitter fury.
Currently, the question you ask others is, “Are you on Twitter?” This is a bit like asking someone back in the early 1990s, “Are you on email?” Not everyone was.
Twitter’s entry box says, “What are you doing?” Not, “What do you want to reply?” The roots of the company are more broadcast-oriented. Not to say conversation isn’t incredibly important to its growth. But many people feel that two-way conversations are all it’s about. The ability to broadcast, without guilt, is the fundamental engine of Twitter’s growth. Otherwise it’s a forum without the threading.

I've heard so much about Twitter and looked into it last night. I didn't have the time to register. Since I wasn't familiar with it at first it seemed strange but I was able to pick up the concept rather quickly. I'm considering joining.

I think you'll like it, Connie. Lots of Parrotheads on there. One lady posted some awesome pix of the Raleigh concert. I direct msgd her (PM'd) and asked if she'd been to Buffett News. She said she loves Buffett News, but had never been to the discussion board, just the news portion.

That's what I like about the reporters on there. You get upclose and personal before they do their televised reports. Even Al Roker gives the weather report for the entire country each morning before he does it on the air. And tells us about his daughter and her fever, which is why he had to stay home yesterday.
Oh! And phjim finally tweeted something on there.

I agree TweetDeck makes it so much more streamlined.

Yay, Connie's tweeting!
Weird when that happens isn't it? I feel like DMing them, why are you following me? Like, this really interesting artist single dad from Canada (aNorthernSoul) showed up out of nowhere msging me about the baby ducks my brother had. Now we're friends. It's like making friends on Buffett News.
Hey lime rickie, I love that baby Twitter!

One of my favorites is John Cleese.
http://twitter.com/JohnCleese
He doesn't tweet too often, but when he does
... it's with his usual Monty Python-isque off the wall humor,
in 140 characters or less of course.

And of course ............ http://twitter.com/theanonymouse

jimmybuffett's (http://twitter.com/jimmybuffett) "tweet" from yesterday .....
jimmybuffett: Someone needs to get Jon Stewart to more Buffett concerts
I'm generally a pretty loyal viewer of the Daily Show, but I missed whatever this may be about. Did Stewart "diss" Jimmy somehow?

I saw that too, and wondered what it was about. I don't watch Jon Stewart, but knew that there had to be something to it or it wouldn't have been on the "hotline" so fast.
