nice.....Aerosmith was my first real 'rock' concert.....
Toys in the Attic tour....yes, I am old.

Usually it is. They don't play a lot of their tunes from the 70's though (they hate the management company they had then and every time they play the songs, they are required to pay 50% of all royalties to them).rich_big wrote:Never seen Aerosmith, but might if you folks say it’s a good show…..

My first time seeing Aerosmith was in 1984, the Back in the Saddle Again tour, saw it in San Diego a few weeks after I got out of Navy boot camp.
Best shows of theirs I saw was the Get a Grip tour, saw that in Albany, NY.and an outdoor show at Stowe Vermont, with the stage at the base of the mountain....WOW, what an awesome show.

Probably not fair for me to even give an opinion......
It was 1976.....and I was a teenager......so everything was cool!

Keep in mind when you see them they use tapes for harmonies - Steven Tyler harmonising with himself live! Pure genius!

Joe Perry lives in Vermont now. Yeah, they lived near Sunapee, where the band actually got it's start, but he moved to Duxbury, about a half hour away from me.
