I have been searching for the perfect bag for a while. And every time I seem to find one, after 6 months it loses its appeal for some reason or another. I know Jimmy has been in search of the perfect bag for a while like I have. I have heard him talk about it a few times in books and interviews. Any idea what he is using? Anyone have a good bag out there they use that they recommend?
I am looking for something that I can take to work, travel with on the weekends, just an all round bag to keep the computer in sometimes, snacks in other times, books, ect.

Re: Jimmy's Bag
I have two bags that I use alternately. For traveling I have a back pack with secure deep pockets with zippers. I use that as my carry on, and it holds my camera, Sammie's dog food and dish, emergency items in case my checked luggage is misplaced, and any breakable items that I might buy. I've had this back pack for 6 months, and it is holding up very well. I bought it at Walmart.MargaritaMatt wrote:I have been searching for the perfect bag for a while. Then I have a toat bag that I bought at a Jimmy Buffett show last summer. It is great for hauling my bottled water and my sheet music that I use at church. It has great handles on it for carrying it on my shoulder. The only thing I wish it had was zippers, but it works fine for what I use it for.

Here is my old bag. You can't fit much in it. Hard to carry. Does not fit in the overhead bin.

You should check the Timbuk2 website. I bought a synthetic ballistic bag there a few years ago and beat it around New Zealand and Australia (I actually abused this bag) and it looks as good as the day I bought it. Very good product.
