I was waiting and waiting through the lonely night/early morning at work and kept thinking, Is this SurfPirate's April Fool for us... no Critters on the PHools's Day?
I must have finished up about 4:10 a.m. and turned the computer off to read while I waited for the go-home signal, so I missed the strip's appearance. I'm not sure I would have been alert enough then to read the tiny print at the bottom....
