Elvis loved fried peanut butter and banana sandwiches. Isn't there some restaurant in Memphis that specializes in them now.

SMLCHNG wrote:From a dear Southern lady, and friend of the family. Easy, tasty, and good for pot lucks and family gatherings.
2- 20 oz cans crushed pineapple, drained well
1 8 oz. (2 cups) grated sharp cheddar cheese
1 cup sugar
6 Tablespoons flour
1 stick butter, melted
1 "tube" Ritz crackers, crushed
Drain pineapple well. Grate cheese & mix w/ pineapple.
Mix flour and sugar, and add to pineapple and cheese.
Pour into greased square baking dish.
Sprinkle crackers on top, then drizzle melted butter over.
Bake at 350 for 30-40 minutes, till crackers start to turn golden.
You say good for tailgates? But does it need to be warm to taste right, or can you eat it at room temp?

I'd say it'd be alright, if it's not too cold or too hot. Room temp is just fine.

So let it set for awhile when it gets out of the oven?

No, I meant the air temps outside shouldn't be too cold or hot for the dish to be ok.
