Do you think Jimmy realizes that he refers to almost every song on his live albums as "a little song"?
He has been doing it since "You had to be there" and continues to the present. I always thought this was odd.
Surely he must have some "big songs".

My theory is, especially on his bigger hits, he is being sarcastic when he says that the song is a "little song."

I'm listening to some live favorites in the minivan these days (THANKS jokelben) and I love the way he says "Well" before going into the song intros. It's just funny if I'm skipping ahead to a particular song ... Well, well, well.

Too funny....my husband and I have noticed this for awhile...especially in concerts. We get a big chuckle every time he says that.
