Would You Like to See Mac's New Song on the Tour?

Would you like to see Mac sing his new single "You First" on the tour this year?
I would!! Its a great song!!!

You notice I didnt say 'should Mr. Buffett do it"......its his show and he 'should' do whatever he wants...but would you like him to want to ask to Mac do it?
Do you think there's any chance that he might??

that's true...and you surely wouldnt want it leading up to intermission and the end, when things reach a peak.....earlier in either half could work, tho. And Mr Buffett actually has a sad song or two which he occasionally sings...ie: Coast of Marseilles...

Mac is going out on the road with Kenny Chesney, so they'll do it then....I'm betting we don't hear Mac and Jimmy doing that duet for awhile....at least not this year.

looks like he's sticking with pretty much the same set list each leg of the concert so far. Maybe after the small break (part of May) he'll shake it up. Dunno. I wish he'd do a tour next year where ticket holders get to vote on the set list, but I think the internet logistics would be a nightmare. there are a few songs from the way back machine that I would like to hear live. When he slipped Livingston Saturday night in the Frisco set I was blown away. Loved it.

you're probably right....do we know whether Mac will be an opening act, or just join in for one or 2 songs? Chesney has also recorded another of Mac's songs.....

My favorite concerts were the ones where Mac and Jimmy would do a couple of acoustic songs at the beginning of the second set. This would be a great spot to insert the song if he would do that again.

Yeah, I always thought those were really entertaining as well. Hopefully, he brings that back, however, kind of doubtful given that Come Monday and A Lot To Drink About are all acoustic versions (in most cases) this year.

it was cool when jimmy and mac used to do the acoustic set after intermission. i always thought it would be a good idea to do 2 acoustic numbers from each decade that way you would hear some real diversity. the other thing is, it would be nice if club trini did an hour or so opening set where all the members (or at least most of them) get to perform a song or two.
