boxed wines

Post by OceanCityGirl »

Have you tried them? Opinion? I like the Black Box Cab. but would like to find a white. I don't drink alot but like to have a glass of wine occasionally. Then in three weeks I end up dumping the rest out because I have forgotten about it. Guilt.

get a wine saver set. It's these little rubber stoppers and a pump. You cork the wine with the stopper and then pump the air out. It extends the life of you wine..

The Peter Vella Chardonnay is far better than I would ever expect a boxed wine to be. I generally don't like white wines, but I do like it.

Box wine actually got better over the years! I am not sure a 'stopper & pumper' work on a box, since I think it can seal itself (I could be wrong)...

Boxed wine is getting better, but you should also look for half bottles.

I was talking about using the stopper set with bottles. You have more selection with bottles then boxed wines

I have this in the fridge all the time. I find it tastes just fine for me. :)

This is also good, and buy it often.

The challenge with boxed wines is making sure you get one from a good week.
