slipped a mickey at alpine

Hi all,
Had a weird experiance last year at alpine.Have been to many shows there and partyed hard last year had a room at the lodge. My gf and I did the parking lot thing and I drank less then some years....was pacing lol went back to room around 5 ate huge sub partyed with some lodge stayers. Made it to show had one beer bought at building half way up the hill was fine.show starts gf went to get 2 more beers left side consession stand near stage.She ended up spilling her`s I drank mine 5th song started....pen. thin must. not my fav made way to bathroom was not seen by gf till back at room afater show I don`t hardly remember anything.This has never happened to me before slept for two days allmost straight. gf said guy who poured beers seemed to be real p*** off......like he didn`t want to be there still wonder if he didn`t put something in them.From seeing how I was affected gf said is like ruffie ......some did to her one time. Was just wondering if anyon eelse had sim. experiance.
She said she remembers what he looked like I WILL BE LOOKING FOR HIM!!!!!!!!

I really think something similar happened to me at Mohegan a few years back, seemed like a blackout but didn't drink nearly enough for something like that to occur. To this day can't explain it... After reading over the thread I guesss drank more than I first believed but still lost hours.

Last year at Chula Vista (San Diego) I did not do very well. People who knew me were really shocked at how slammed I got after being okay in the parking lot all day (sipping my rum) but once inside, I drank one beer and don't remember much after that. The one person I was sitting with took off to go down front. He had my ticket, so when I somehow got separated from my seat, they wouldn't let me back into my section. I left the concert and it took me well over an hour to find my car and our group in the parking lot. By the time I found them I was freezing, scared and crying. It was a wonderful day, but a horrible night. Our group couldn't figure out why I went from being comfortably tipsy to barely able to stand up. It really scared me. Don't know if I was slipped something or if I just blew it, but I have been VERY careful regarding my drinking since then. (And I'm still mad that I missed the concert.)

Going to Alpine for the 11th year in a row. Has never happened, never will. Any blackouts that have occured are completely self-induced. Not to say that it doesn't happen, but it sounds to me like you had a little more of the sauce than you could handle that particular day.

It happens...party on. Hope you have a more sobering and better experience next time. Alpine is always a good show!

I had this happen to me at a local "snob/yuppie" bar after a office holiday party. I had the exact same experience, I left my half glass of beer on the bar next to my friends, went to the bathroom, came back, finished the beer, and about 20 or so minutes later, I lost about the next 3-4 hours of my life, can't remember anything, etc. I was supposedly functional but sick. Now keep in mind, I was not drunk, this was my 4th beer in 5 hours, and I have, along with many others I'm sure, been sick from drinking too much. This experience was totally different. I couldn't drink for 2 months after that happened.

WOW I'd contact the venues every time this happens to somebody. It doesn't sound right..........could some pourers/bartenders be roofing Parrotheads' beers ? I think I won't buy beers at the venue, or if I do, I'll watch the 'bartender' pour the drink. Or make him take a drink first.

I just can't imagine anyone working a stand at a venue doing that. What would be their purpose? Total waste IMO. Not that it wouldn't happen - I just can't imagine why.
