So you are gonna talk about "life" in a positive spin? Kool aid drinker!!
I can't get a positive spin on life. It keeps popping off the thing, so I only end up with a 2 or a 3. I always get the worst paying job, end up with too many kids and not enough insurance, and when the end comes, the only chance i have of winning is going for bankruptcy. But I do love driving my little plastic car over the green hills.

If the moderators here at BN were in any way non-partial about the so-called west coast dates and the people that started this thread, then this thread would have gotten locked up a long time ago!

Give it up people!
I do agree that this thread is pretty pathetic. Like others have said, all 'sides' have been represented, so all that's left is throwing insults back and forth, and beating / pommeling the poor, dead horse.

However, I disagree about the moderators being 'biased or prejudiced in favor of a person, group, side, etc., over another, as in a controversy' toward the west coast and people who started this thread.

They are in a frustrating, no-win situation, because this topic is a frustrating no-win situation, and they probably all have friends on both sides of the fence. The easy thing to do would be to lock it, but the right thing would probably be to expect us all to act like adults, agree to disagree, and not insist on getting in the last word.

Most everyone has probably chimed in who has wanted to, but there may be stragglers who won't go back and read every word, and will want their say.

Out of my respect for the moderators, I am stepping aside. Maybe some of the others will too.

That's because Hasbro hasn't done anything to impress me. But that Milton Bradley? He's pretty good...

a) "pathetic" is a matter of opinion, and certainly incendiary in its usage.
b) if you are pommelling the horse, there is still a saddle on it.
c) and a as a note in the original quote: impartial, not "non-partial" would work better in the sentence..

Hasbro did sell off their "Interactive" division about 15 years ago, that included stuff like Spectrum Holobyte and Microprose software. On the other hand, they also own Avalon Hill and Wizards of the Coast and thru that, TSR.

Computer-generated stories for midgets. You can see why the market wasn't huge...

Actually http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Microprose has a rough history. Some great titles came out of that design house.

Here is a question for everyone. If these dates are cancelled, why are there tickets posted on StubHub for sale, with specific seat locations??

The word Mistake comes to mind.

There is no "IF" about the Seattle show. I have an email from the Seattle Center confirming that it has been canceled.

It is my understanding that ticket broker sites will post "seats" for sale, but when you actually go to by them they tell you the seats they have are "similar" to the ones offered. This way they get your attention quicker--instead of guessing if they have seats and where they might be, you instantly know (about) where you could be sitting.

As to why they are still offering tickets to a canceled show, my guess is just too lazy to properly maintain a portion of the website they believe nobody is paying attention to, now that the show is no more.
