I stopped showing up in the setlists threads because the jabs about west coasters from you, Dave and a few others made it too uncomfortable for me to be there. Talk about getting old. Whether or not they were directed at me is beside the point. I am a west coaster, I was affected by the changes and I found the comments hurtful, especially when they came from people I considered my friends. Perhaps they were funny to you, since you weren't affected, but the lack of sensitivity towards those who were doesn't go very far towards making friends, at least not in my book.
I made a choice to stay away from the setlists and my friends rather than exacerbate the problem or drag more people into it. But these two replies compelled me to say something here. I don't like having to stay away from a place I've been a part of for a loooong time. Nor should I have to. I'm all for letting the subject die a very quick death and moving on and back to normal. But that means everyone has to let it go...across the board.
