This thread is about generating discontent in support of a boycott of any show at Landshark Stadium. I'm pretty sure a good number of the PH's in south Florida don't take that too kindly....

You are asking BN'ers to join you in a BOYCOTT on the Landshark Stadium because of Jimmy not giving a explanation of why he canceled the October Tour. If you feel that strongly about this BOYCOTT, so be it, continue on but take it somewhere else. The ones that want to follow you will and the ones of us that don't will be happy to see Jimmy whenever we can and wherever we can.
I'm sure that when the time is right there will be explanation and there is still people in the Margaritaville Camp that do not know why this has happened.
Someone posted that Jimmy or anyone from the Margaritaville Camp never reads BN. I have to say not true.
Yes, they all read BN. My "sista friend" Lucy has told me before that when Jimmy forgets to tell her something..he has told her to always go to BN.
PEACE OUT!!!!

Jimmy doesn't go on BN...he may have people to read it....but he doesn't!!!...i think a mod would actually know if he registered or not!!
come on Tommy do think if he actually register it would be under his name???
but a IP ADDRESS WOULD....CHRISTINE DO ACTUALLY THINK HE READS HERE....THINK BACK TO THE BIRTHDAY CARD!!!....AND IF HE WAS HERE...DON'T YOU THINK HE WOULD OF ACKNOWLEDGED HIS FANS AT LEAST ONCE???
with technology the way it is these days i am sure it could be done....i am not saying i think that HE reads here and if he did he would probably be disgusted by this thread. I'm out before i say something i regret in this thread.

Thats probably the biggest reason I've been as active in this thread as I have.....if Jimmy (or his staff) do read this thread, I just want them to know that the negative viewpoints expressed by a few are not shared by the majority of parrotheads. Jimmy has said that he will continue touring as long as its fun for him.....but facing constant negativity such as whats been expressed in this thread (and a few others on this board) can eliminate that fun aspect for him. I'd rather say thanks to Jimmy for the good things he has done than demand he owes us something which is so far from the truth.
Reasoned verse, some prose or rhyme
Lose themselves in other times
And waiting hopes cast cast silent spells
That speak in clouded clues.
It cannot be a part of me,
For now it's part of you.
Careful plays on fields
That seems to vanish when they're in between
And softly as I walk away
In freshly tattered shoe.
It cannot be a part of me
For now it's part of you.
Sunshine, ragtime
Blowing in the breeze.
Midnight, looks right
Standing more at ease.
Silhouettes and figures stay
Close to what he had to say
And one more time the faded dream
Is saddened by the news.
It cannot be a part of me
For now it's part of you.
Well, Sunshine, ragtime
Blowing in the breeze.
Midnight, looks right
Standing more at ease.
Silhouettes and figures stay
Close to what he had to say
And one more time the faded dream
Is saddened by the news.
It cannot be a part of me
For now it's part of you.

No, he would not use BN to acknowledge the fans. He acknowledges the fans at every concert he plays. If he were to attempt to acknowledge the fans on this board there would be those people who would not believe that it is Jimmy who is actually posting, and if he acknowledged BNers via a spokesperson posting, there would be those here who would not like that either. If he wants to acknowledge the fans over the Internet he can use margaritaville.com to do so. .

Here we are, maybe it's because in spite of all the work we do
It's the child in us we really value
Here we are, with our fins up and our feathers flashing
Here we are, with our coconut shell brassieres chanting
As a Miami Dolphin Fan for life.... you couldn't pay me thousands upon thousands to miss Jimmy at Landshark. Not now, not ever. I hope and pray I get tickets, I have the money to go, I don't have any school or work obligations.... I literally hope and pray.
So no, I won't be joining in on this. Hate me if you please... but the combination of two of my most favorite things in the whole world?! HA.
Sorry that all of you guys are so upset you would do this, that it would get to this point...

Nope. No Moderator can see any IP's unless there's a post made. And there's nothing concrete about someone's IP address.

That's very cool--where did it come from, Garry?
