A most mysterious calling harbour
So far, but yet, so near
Where I see the day
When my hair's full gray
and I finally...disappear. BUT NOT YET!!

Thank you everyone for sharing in this incredible moment with Ms Sammie and I. No Tiki Bar, I don't mind that you started this thread. I was going to wait for a little while to post about my experience, but maybe now was the time to share this, and I am glad Tiki Bar's mind prevailed.

Oh, you all should have seen Jimmy bonding with Sammie. You can tell that the man has a soft spot for golden retrievers, because he took to her, and Sammie thought he was special. My encounter with Jimmy was all too brief, and there was so much more that I wanted to say to the man. After all, how do I thank a man whose music stepped up to the plate and was there for me when I thought that my world was going to come to an end after mom died a year and a half ago. His music made me get out of bed on those days when I just wanted to pull the covers over my head and sleep. Now his music makes me smile, cry, laugh, and most importantly it has allowed me to meet some very nice people and make some friends that will last me a few lifetimes. I will not get off this wave until someone knocks me off, and whoever tries to knock me off will have to deal with Ms Sammie first.

Here we are, maybe it's because in spite of all the work we do
It's the child in us we really value
Here we are, with our fins up and our feathers flashing
Here we are, with our coconut shell brassieres chanting

You're welcome, Liz! I thought it was an awesome 'feel good', which we certainly needed around here, and I just felt it deserved to be brought to the forefront and celebrated! I doubt there's anyone who'd appreciate and cherish a moment like that as much as you!
