GOOOOOOO!!!!! I just discovered Josh Ritter and his music back in April. I had the chance to see him live with his Band in State College, PA back in April. I have seen close to 100 concerts over the years, and I can honestly say that his show is in my personal top ten. Even if you do not own any of his CD's I promise that you will not be disappointed. Tift Merritt puts on a good show, but Ritter will blow you away, I PROMISE.

Josh Ritter was the opening act for John Prine when I went a few months ago. I would say…..go see him. Josh Ritter did a good job. I really enjoyed his performance.

Be prepared to have an urge to commit suicide. One of my coworkers (I think that you may have drank a beer with her and her husband with me at the Garage) got Lu hooked on the dude. Most of his songs are very depressing.

Download "Thin Blue Flame" if you want a taste of how amazing he is. The song stays on high rotation in my house. His music is poetic, inspiring, and uplifting. There's not many songwriters on his level working in contemporary music.
