Favorite Comfort Food?
Mine is pizza. Could eat it every day, but that would most likely defeat my regular visits to the fitness center.......

What's yours???????

Re: Favorite Comfort Food?
Soup for me.
All time favorite is onion soup. Really good, with a toasty crouton and tons of cheese. Recently I had a five onion soup that was just fabulous, thick and almost creamy rather than broth-based. Amazing.
Lately I''ve been enjoying a packaged soup called Alessio Tuscan Chicken Soup. So easy to make and tastes so homemade.
And Thai or Chinese hot&sour is my very best hangover remedy.

You're so right, I could eat soup even in the hottest weather. Places in Newport, RI have the best clam chowder.........lime rickie wrote:Soup for me.

Oooh...love me some clam chowder. The New England kind. Not a fan of the tomato-y Manhattan kind.
I just saw a rerun of Emeril and JB was the guest. Emeril made a creaole seafood soup/stew that looked soooo good. I'm going to get the recipe off the website and try it at home.

Re: Favorite Comfort Food?
To be authentic the cheesesteak simply has to have Cheez Whiz, am I correct Philadelphia BNers????????lime rickie wrote:Or a cheesesteak sub with the works. They call it a steak bomb. Mmmmm.

Meat loaf and mashed potatoes. (Not whipped.) Covered in tomato sauce with green peppers and onions.
MMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMM. My official birthday meal.
We make extra meatloaf for sandwiches later. Yummy.
