Lucky setlist this year..

so I know I have only gone to two shows this year.. and with three to go
But I have been lucky with some real Gems..
Livingston Saturday night.. It has been since '93 that I was in the house for that song (and I called it) :lol:

Land fall.. first Jimmy stopped playing it before I started attending shows

He Went to Paris I have seen Doug Supernaw Perform this more than Jimmy
(this year was my First)

My Head hurts......... first and second this year..
I heard I was in town.. I haven't looked but I am pretty sure it was my first..


anyone else lucky???

Not me. :( I have yet to be at a show to see/hear Jimmy play Havana Daydreamin'. That would truly by 'my gem'. A girl can still hope though...

Jimmy Buffett is not allowed to retire until he plays "SOMEWHERE OVER CHINA" at a concert that I'm at.

"God's Own Drunk" and "Rainy Day Women," at the Fillmore a couple of years back. :) I like the shows better when he throws various old and new gems in to keep it interesting. Unlike some of the shows he did in May, which were all about 95% the same.

i have been lucky enough to hear him play 'Somewhere Over China" in Houston last year.

oh, and as a Texan, it was cool to hear him play "Migration" at the Tampa show this year. (except Texas wasnt mentioned in the song..."and some Florida hidden here in my heart")

Gulf Coast Highway in Houston 2008 from the Year Of Still Here.

Also loved hearing Livingston Saturday Night in Frisco.

When Jimmy closed the show in Jones Beach in 2008 with Oysters and Pearls, that was really special. As much as we pulled for Nautical Wheelers, everytime I hear Oysters and Pearls it takes me back to Long Island.

An especially good show was Houston when Jimmy and a hand full of the Reefers closed with In My Room.

Gypsies in the Palace at Dallas in 1998...the year I turned 50. :wink:

Sorry I didn't stick to getting lucky this year...but I agree wholeheartedly with the Frisco setlist being a LUCKY setlist this year. [smilie=battingeyes.gif] [smilie=battingeyes.gif]

(and prolly the only show I'll get to go to)

my first Texas show (Hoot Island) that was the First song..

and yes.. I have some Texas right here in my Heart..

Heard No Plane on Sunday, I think only once, at Great Woods about 10 years ago.
If you want an experience, go to a Jimmy Buffett concert.

Experience is something you don't get until just after you need it.

I was there for that too! It was lucky! My boyfriend at the time (you met him) had been to 17 shows at that point and he had never heard it. He was FREAKING OUT.

I have been SUPER lucky at my concerts, I cannot lie.

All I have left to hear is Wino I know,who's that blonde stranger, and WGCOCS and I could die happy. I won't hold my breath for any of these but than again I said that last year about My head hurts my feet stink...

I remember going to his concert (but not coming home) the year that SOC came out. I was so disappointed in the concert because I hadn't had the $$ to buy the tape (yep) and didn't know many of the songs. Was the first concert I took my 'keets to (they're now 39 and 36). :wench:
