I am re-reading this book again for the 22nd time. It's like an old friend to me. I have to tell you out there in BN, I am so glad this was never made into a movie

That's why I like to read books too; it allows you to make your own visualizations of the story. Movies and TV are OK, but there's nothing like the 'theater of the mind'!

Reading...

It's over-rated.

I would not mind it being a movie. Hell if I don't like it I just won't watch it again.

I got it for Father's Day too. I have a business trip in about a month so I am waiting to start it on the flight.

Easily his best book. I've read it a bunch of times. Too bad Jimmy couldn't remember what his own character said in Don't Chu Know. It wasn't Frank Bama.

My vote goes to Salty (although I liked JM).

I may read salty again when I'm finished w/ the Cptn Tony book

I thought that Salty was good but the way Jimmy wrapped it up so quick was a disappointment to me.

I would not mind a sequel to Joe Merchant. Catch up with everyone and see how they are
