Lighthouse

Post by suvid »

Been perusing shows from recent years, and I was wondering if I could call on the Parrothead faithful for some help.

Jimmy performed a song called "Lighthouse," which I thought was fantastic. It was during the Salty Piece of Land Tour in 2005.

Anyone know who wrote and performed that song originally?

James Taylor sang the song. I'm not sure if he wrote it though.

At the top of this website is a black band with News v, Tour v, etc...

Click on Resources, then click on Song & Lyrics Database, then search any word or words for songs Jimmy has performed that you're looking for info on.

Here's the link to Lighthouse:

'Lighthouse' was played near the end of a show I saw in Cincy/2005. I had never heard the song before and it absolutely blew me away. The show's highlight right behind 'Banana Republics'..

Right on, Brother Santa! :D
It has the same "calmness" as the waves that might gently lap at the base of the very lighthouse itself. (in my own humble opinion). [smilie=cheeky-grin.gif]
