Very few of you are likely to remember her, but when I was a little kid, My Little Margie was a show I watched in the morning whenever it was on. She, along with Lucille Ball, led the way for women on television.

I remember watching that show with my mother-it was one of her favorites.

That would have been the eponymous "Gale Storm Show" which ran from 1956 to 1960.
She played a cruise director ("Susannah Pomeroy") on a globetrotting ocean liner.
