Myrtle Beach
Hey just wanted to share...My family and I just returned from a nice little vacation over at Myrtle Beach. Had late lunch over at Margaritaville one day. I have been there before but just really enjoyed it this time...Food and drinks were great. Staff and atmosphere was great. Something new that I haven't seen at a Margaritaville before, they had guys out front with 3 beautiful parrots and you could have your picture made with them (of course you couldn't take your own pics and had to buy theirs.) But I did buy them. I am glad I did. Oh and on video screen inside saw one of my groups tailgates from an ATL show...it's amazing what excites me these days..hahhaa . No point here just wanted to share.

Re: Myrtle Beach
Big DAWG, I'm planning my first trip to Myrtle Beach next year and would love to hear about a great place to stay. I've looked on the net and there are just tons of places, what's one of you favorites?
Thanks,
BFB

there are several... places, all different price ranges. I have been there 3 times , twice we stayed at Beach Colony and this time we stayed at Landmark. Both have websites. The Landmark is much bigger! There are nicer more upscale places to stay but these are economical and clean. And staff are nice. If you have kids the Landmark has more to offer. It has 2 lazy rivers, and indoor and outdoor pools, kiddie pools, hot tubs....across the road in front of their parking deck it has a lap pool, splash park and putt putt for guest only.. we had fun..hope you do too.

Re: Myrtle Beach
Are you looking for a condo, hotel, house? How many people? The Regency Towers at the south end of Ocean Blvd is an ultra roomy condo complex on the beach. But if it's only 2 of you that probably wouldn't be needed. If you want a house I suggest Garden City about 6 miles south of Myrtle. Just got back from Garden City. We've been staying there for the last several years in a house due to the size of our tribe."Big DAWG, I'm planning my first trip to Myrtle Beach next year and would love to hear about a great place to stay.
