On Buffett Eve the weather mon says...

Accuweather

Daytime

High: 83 °F RealFeel®: 88 °F
Watch for strong thunderstorms; partly sunny and humid, breezy in the afternoon

Nighttime
Low: 70 °F RealFeel®: 68 °F
Watch for a strong thunderstorm in the evening; otherwise, mostly cloudy and breezy

Weather Channel

Daytime

T-Showers
High - 79°F
Precip - 60%
Wind: SE 8 mph
Max. Humidity: 81%
UV Index: 6 High
Sunrise: 5:32 AM ET

Nighttime
Overnight
Low - 68°F
Precip - 30%
Wind: N 6 mph

The first random thought that popped into my head when looking at this information was, "Which arrives at the Camden lots first, the sun or Tropic-al?"

We are almost there!!!!!!

I'll bet the mortgage on Tropic Al!!!

Secondly, the Accuweather forecast is a little more encouraging than it may appear. "Watch for" sounds like a "maybe it will, maybe it won't" rather than a full day of dreariness. Hopefully, we get some sun. I will try to work my moJOE.

What a coincidence, my physician gave me the same remedy, however, he told me to make sure to have some beer with my Margaritas and to be sure that I wear something tropical, such as leis and flip-flops.

Tried oh so hard to not look at last nites setlist ( I much prefer to be surprised) but alas I could not resist. Great set! We have a virgin coming along with us, who is a huge "DEAD" fan. If he keeps scarlet bogonias in the list that what make her day. Hope everyone is enjoying their "prep" day. Loading the coolers the leis the food etc etc, and in between watching the OPEN, can life get any better? Not a religious person, but those of you that are, little extra prayer for the weather would be nice. FINS UP ALL. In my mind I'm crossing the Ben Franklin right now [smilie=cheeky-grin.gif]

OK the FINAL menu is:

24 pieces Jerk Chicken
4 slabs of Baby Back Ribs
6 jalapeno burgers with pepper jack cheese
6 sweet onion burgers
200 littleneck clams (for steaming)
1 London Broil (new addition)
2 Pork Tenderloins
5 lbs homemade potato salad (just finished making it)
Vat of Homemade Pork and Beef 6-pepper Chili (new addition)
Grilled Veggies (eggplant, Jersey Fresh zucchini and portabella shrooms...since they were a hit last year)
Firecracker Fajita Shrimp Skewers
Chips/Doritos
60 beers (Coors Light since I am dieting!!! :o )
Jug of Water to hydrate and pace

Think this is enough for the two of us or do you know anyone who might want to help us eat it????
:pirate: :pirate: :pirate:

Off to pick up the clams being harvested out of the bay RIGHT NOW. It doesn't get any fresher!!!

Peace and love, see you in the A.M.
