It won't matter that our schedule might suffer with some teams having down years. If we win out as we should, we play in the NC. We just need to take care of business every week. We can't help it that other teams stink it up at home with genius offensive playcalling or look horrible against Div I-AA schools.
Oh, no doubt. If we win out, we're in the NC. Still, I personally think it's embarrassing that our schedule is so weak this year. Then again, who cares. Other teams, cough *OSU*, *USC* cough, made it to the NCG by playing incredibly weak schedules. Sometimes they stepped up, sometimes they got creamed. I guess I'm ok with it, though I do generally take pride in the SEC being a tough conference. This is just a down year though.
On another note, I'm very surprised with the way the USC/OSU game is going.
I don't find it weak. I just think that Urban Meyer and our staff are just that damn good. We can't control what other schools do, but the fact is Coach Meyer has had a lot to do with the demise of the once powerhouse schools in Florida. He's also has a one-loss record against our "rivals" and that came with a beat up Tebow. We made up for that last year though. Didn't we?
Well, I think it is weak, we just have no control over it because our schedules are created years in advance. Personally, I want to see Miami back on the schedule every year. I don't think Meyer contributed to the decline of FSU or UM though. He's hindering their return perhaps, but they were on the downward spiral before that. Miami took a nose dive as soon as Butch Davis left and took the ability to recruit talent and maintain a disciplined team with him. Bowden has just lost touch, as he's nothing more than a figurehead, and he made the mistake of bringing in his boy. Here too, no discipline. I believe the only reason FSU got so good in the 90s was because of the probation UF was on in the 80s/90. To be fair though, Spurrier got a boost in talent in the early/mid 90s because of UM's probation. That got off on a tangent, but in a sense, I do think it's relevant to current state of the Florida schools.
I'll agree with you and "hindering their return" is a good choice of words. Until those schools clean house, they'll continue to live in mediocrity.

Just ignore the Vol tatted. Someone who can't refer to a team by their actual name and won't recognize that Lane Kiffin was not a good hire doesn't deserve a response. Lane will get exactly what he deserves on Saturday.

Yeah, I give little attention to people who type that "gayterds" crap. I don't like it when Gators type stupid stuff like reFSU or scUM either. It's juvenile and retarded, usually reserved for the fans of teams who s***.
However, looking at 2010 recruiting rankings in 9/09 shows how badly they're grasping at straws

Those rankings will change a dozen times before signing day. UF is not in the top 5...yeah, like that's going to be accurate for a team who owns 2 of the last 3 (and possibly 3 of the last 4) National Titles
Kiffin will prove himself to be a joke of a coach, just like he was in Oakland. I hope we put up 50 on them this Saturday and I'll be there to see it

I don't have mine locked up...pretty confident 1 of the people I tailgate with will have an extra one, they always do. If not, I'll get one outside the stadium. Even for big games, I can usually get in for a decent price.

I know how many but I am keeping my mouth shut at least the defense showed up last week. Things I found out last week Pryor is still young ( Vince was only a part time player at this stage of the game and Smith was just returning kicks ) so there is still hope

I just realized that the Texas/Texas Tech game is this weekend. It is usually Halloween weekend.
I'm torn on who I want to win.
I do not like either team....

Just curious as a non-Canes fan, what qualifies for the Warning flags?
