Damn. Oh well. I thought this festival was a one year thing.

Looks like that Sunday JB played would have been a good show considering the line up:

Breakfast with the Dead | Grateful Dead
Jerry Jeff Walker
Jimmy Buffett
Jackson Browne
Fleetwood Mac

Bummer that Buffett isn't going to be on the this airing. HOWEVER....Van Halen played that year and were incredible! I have an "unofficial" 2 disc set of their performance, warts and all, and they were amazing.

...and on a similar but unrelated note: I've always thought of Sammy Hagar as the "hard rock Jimmy Buffett". The man loves his tequila, has a few songs about beaches, and was proprietor of the Cabo Wabo Cantina. Just thought I'd throw that in there. :)

Let the Sammy vs. Dave vs. Jimmy :) :) discussion begin!

It was a GREAT end to a rockin' weekend!

That was my first time seeing JB (and the Dead, for that matter)...

Damn, I just had a flashback.

I guess that's what you get from having "breakfast with the Dead" [smilie=cheeky-grin.gif]
