How do you rate "Take the Weather With You"?

Personally, "TTWWY" is one of those albums that I like more and more the more I listen to it. When I first heard it I thought it was good but not great; a little too "slick", perhaps. But as time has gone by the quality of the songs has impressed me more and more. I still don't care for "Bama Breeze" (too much of a "modern country" type of sound), but the rest are gems. I even like "Party at the End of the World", which some others here seem to despise (it's not a great song, but it's fun).
I give "TTWWY" an 8.

A great album.
The only song on there I don't care for is "Everybody's On the Phone."
I rated the album a 9.

I think it's a good album...little something for everyone on there.
I love "Breathe in, Breathe out, and move on" and "Dukes On Sunday"

Wheel Inside the Wheel. I used to think this song would get a lot more traction than it has, probably due to the spoken word.

I htink that echoes my sentiments pretty well. I wasn't too hot on most of them the first couple times through, but I really like Dukes on Sunday, Wheel Inside the Wheel, and a few others, esp as I listened to it more. I like Bama Breeze too though.

I don't see why most people don't like Everybody's on the Phone! I mean yeah it's different but it makes me laugh almost every time I hear it, and doesn't everyone need a laugh at some point? I just think it's one of those songs that's just so stupid it's funny, plus it's actually not that bad live.

While there are some good ones, I feel like Jimmy's "topical" songs aren't as good / entertaining as the others... but it's friday morning and I had a fun Thursday night, so I can't think of any examples right now... Well... A Lot to Drink About, i feel, is one that isn't that good compared to his other songs about drinking

Nothin But A Breeze strikes a great chord in me. When he leans into the phrase... "Dare we.... do just as we pleas..." I swear it sounds a little like a Jackson Browne tune.
Breathe In Breathe Out, Move On is one of those sweet, delicious songs that can mean something to everyone.
Bama Breeze is ok, but it can get old fast; Reggabilly Hill is a jewel; Weather With You is fantastic... in short.. there's so much to like on that album.

While my 2 fav songs on this one are not Jimmy's, I love his versions of them, I love the way his voice sounds singing them, and they both have very special meaning to me. Nothing But a Breeze is one of them. And anytime I hear him sing Dukes on Sunday, I am immediately transported to an amazing day I spent in Waikiki.

Yes!!!
Dukes On Sunday.... It puts me right on the beach. I can smell the grill and feel the wind. I love being a Parrothead for that very reason.

this is a very good all around album regardless of the number of cover songs. breath in, breath out, move on, dukes on sunday, and nothin' but a breeze are real standouts for me. not to mention here we are(the original version) is terrific with the video montage.
