How do you rate "Last Mango in Paris"?

This was the first Buffett album I ever bought, back in 1985; got it because I liked the country radio hit, "If the Phone Doesn't Ring".

Overall, though, I don't think it's one of JB's strongest efforts. It starts out sorta mediocre on side one, but then gets stronger as it goes along, to its credit. I'd give side 2 a seven or an eight, but overall "LMIP" earns a six from me.

How do you rate it?

This is one of my very favorite J.B. albums. I give it a 9.

It's not a bad album, but I disagree that all the songs are good.

"Please Bypass this Heart" is the worst Buffett song I've ever heard -- all hook and no fish. Maybe it's not actually "bad", but it darned mediocre.
